ENVIRONMENTAL TEST TECHNICIAN

One of The Select Group's clients is looking for an Environmental Test Technician to join their team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands on projects and has an aptitude for fixing things! This is a great opportunity for recent Associate's graduates who are excited to work with new technologies and learn from leading Engineers in the Environmental Testing field.

ENVIRONMENTAL TEST TECHNICIAN
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 year degree in Aerospace, Technology, Mechanics, or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest or experience in hands on projects (ex. building cars, computers, or other equipment from scratch)
  • Internships working as an Environmental Test Technician is considered a major asset

ENVIRONMENTAL TEST TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Working directly under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Test Technician to maintain, fix, and troubleshoot errors on the environmental chamber machines
  • Perform test set ups and follow procedures
  • Maintain test log sheets and record data during the tests
  • Program environmental thermal chamber controllers, set up data acquisition system
