Job Description


The Linux Systems Administrator will work on systems and network support for a major tech company in Mesa, AZ. This role will involve monitoring and troubleshooting issues to support a large network of data centers across the country. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in Linux Administration and a foundational understanding of networking concepts.


  • 3+ years of recent experience in Linux Administration or Network Operations/Support
  • Ability to support large enterprise environments (1000s of servers) and perform advanced troubleshooting including scripting and use of Linux CLI
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network and systems issues independently
  • Able and comfortable with interacting with other engineers over the phone
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: TSM, Netvault, DataDomain, Autosys, SAP
  • Any certifications related to systems or networking is a plus


  • Troubleshoot complex network and systems issues to support a large network of data centers across the country. Use many different tools, including Linux CLI and scripting
  • Instruct break/fix technicians at data center locations across the country to resolve technical issues related to hardware
  • Manage a busy queue of tickets using the ServiceNow platform
  • Advanced troubleshooting of server issues, RAM, log files, etc
