LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of linux systems experience troubleshooting complex issues
  • Go-getter attitude and a passion for systems and their career goals
  • Experience building a server from the ground up
  • Experience in a process environment using a ticketing system
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Scripting experience is a plus (Shell/Bash/etc)
LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Linux, Windows, and unix servers
  • Apply appropriate support packages/patches to maintain system integrity
  • Work alongside network admins to configure and troubleshot issues emanating from the network
  • Problem solve potential risks or problems within linux systems
