Job Description


One of the Select Group's clients is seeking Quantitative Developer in the GTA to help design and implement their new proprietary strategy and risk analysis tool. Strong candidates will be creative thinkers with a proven record of building high performance portfolio/risk applications.


  • 5 years of experience developing applications (Python or C# - Python is highly desirable)
  • Experience building APIs and applications handling large data sets
  • Understand and ability to write algorithms of various complexity
  • Knowledge of and/or strong interest in financial markets and risk management
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills


  • Participate in requirements gathering. Propose modular and extensible application design
  • Work efficiently with a team of high performing developers to implement, test and deploy required functionalities
  • Provide excellent quality design and implementation documentation
