Job Description

QUEUE MANAGER

The Select Group is looking for Customer Service and Support specialist to manage daily work queue activities. We are working with a Service Delivery team that is on the very front end of providing a solution to customer requests for complex hardware infrastructures in Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have an an ability to be flexible and be able handle non-standard requests so that we may offer alternative solutions.


QUEUE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical customer service/support role
    • Experience with infrastructure/platform support and request preferred
    • Examples of the technical environment: Linux, Windows, VLan's, AIX, Solaris, Any Databases
  • Managing technical requests and utilizing basic knowledge with servers, storage and infrastructure ability
  • Reviewing and reporting customer requests by utilizing ad hoc tools
  • ServiceNow ticketing experience
  • On-site in Sunnyvale 40 hours per week

QUEUE MANAGER RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Organize and Manage internal customer "requests" for Infrastructure build projects
  • Maintain on-going request relevant dialogue between internal customer and delivery teams
    • Attend and/or drive customer meetings as required - face-to-face and WebEx
  • Create and manage Ad Hoc reports to simplify task response and utilize to aid in decision making
  • Partner with Delivery and Project Management teams for successful completion of customer projects
