SECURITY APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Security Application Administrator to work on contract in Colorado Springs, CO. The mission of the contract is to provide integrated solutions to support concurrent test, training and operations, within the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center.

SECURITY APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Must have experience with one of the following; McAfee HBSS (host based security systems), ACAS, ArcSight, PKI
  • Must have a IAT level II certification
  • HS Diploma + 16 years experience. Less experience required for Associates, Bachelor's, or Masters degrees

SECURITY APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR PLUS SKILLS:

  • 2-5 years of RHEL Linux Administration experience
  • 2-5 years of ArcSight, ACAS, HBSS or PKI admin experience
  • Familiarity with Remedy Request System
  • DoD Level III cert

SECURITY APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Security Application Administrator supports a suite of security tools to include McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), ArcSight Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) PKI Program based at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO or Hunstville, AL.
  • Candidate will perform SIPRNet/NIPRNet Trusted Agent activities to include requesting, enrolling, issuing, revoking, and tracking SIPRNet/NIPRNet Tokens MDA users at the Schriever AFB location and remote Tail Sites.
  • Candidate will provide maintenance of the HBSS platform to include HBSS components, agent modules and approved policies.
  • Perform troubleshooting of HBSS components and applications when ePO policies are preventing application operations.
  • Successful candidate will perform standard O&M activities for the ACAS information assurance application for both unclassified and classified networks.
  • Support will cover all components of the ACAS application: Security Center, Nessus User Interface, xTool, 3D Tool, and Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS).
  • Responsibilities with the ACAS Software Application include initial application installation and configuration, routine application updates, management of vendor releases.
  • Monitor the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool and use ArcSight Management Ceter (ArcMC). Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, performance monitoring, and back up all components in the ArcSight Enterprise Log Management (ELM) architecture.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Candidate must be available to do shift work. Potentially 4-12 and weekend work.
