Job Description

SR. LOGISTICS SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree with 3-5 years of warehousing/shipping experience in a fast paced production environment in a leadership position
  • Previous quality management experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to multi-task.
  • Strong Math Skill is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

SR. LOGISTICS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide on-time delivery to our customer while assisting in the management of in-house inventory and addressing customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Responsible for providing solutions to management to resolve customer issues relating to storage and delivery of product to customer.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff on 1st & 2nd shift
  • Downloads and processes the daily customer demand from customer portals
  • Communicate daily with production about finished goods inventory goals for shipments
  • Monitoring MES & WMS to create accurate daily shipments
  • Escalating any potential issues arising from production of inventory levels that can compromise accurate on time deliveries to Management
  • Keeping accurate record of returned parts and working with Quality to facilitate accurate processing
  • Keeping accurate record of all inventory and labeling issues that affect daily shipments and escalating these issues to Management
  • Monitoring customer portals for production schedule announcements including delays, stoppages, increases, or decreases at customer sites
  • Communicating customer issues including shipment issues to Management.
  • Production when necessary to resolve shortage, labeling, inventory and shipment issues
  • Quality Control to resolve inventory issues resulting from Quality sorts in finished goods
  • Month end closing activities that includes interface with Accounting to determine the disposition of inventory levels for all assigned products
  • Collecting all Logistic Department Invoices, entering invoices into SAP, and providing invoice payment information to Accounting
