VB/C# SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

This position sits in Merrifield, VA and the candidate would serve the United States Postal Service. This position involves working on a new program supporting their package delivery technology. The ideal candidate would possess a bachelors degree in a technical related field.

VB/C# SOFTWARE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:

1.) 5 + years of professional experience with:

    • programming using VB or C# languages
    • program development using Visual Studio 2010 or higher
    • working within the .NET framework
    • working within a Windows environment
    • file transfer using SFTP

2.) Ability to obtain a USPS public trust clearance (U.S. citizenship or green card holders)


VB/C# SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications
  • Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems
  • Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
  • Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams
  • Provides technical support to project team members
